Rubaga Division Deputy Resident City Commissioner (RCC), Herbert Anderson Burora, has been suspended following a complaint lodged by the Speaker of Parliament, as reported by sources within the presidency.
According to Headline trusted sources, Herbrt Burora’s suspension, initiated by the Secretary in the Office of the President, Hajj Yunus Kakande, reportedly comes from his constant use of social media directed at different parliamentary figures.
The controversy came into picture after images surfaced on social media showing Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Anita Among meeting with the President amid ongoing discussions about corruption and fiscal mismanagement within the August House.
Sources claim that during her meeting with the President, Among expressed her dissatisfaction with Burora’s recurrent online comments, which she deemed as undermining parliamentary authority and leadership.
In one notable instance, Burora took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he sarcastically commented on the delayed disbursement of Corporate Social Responsibility funds, implying their impact on service delivery.
